Valparaiso’s men’s golf team closed out the 2011-2012 season on Sunday morning at the Horizon League Golf Championships held at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., posting a seventh place finish as a team.

Valparaiso’s men’s golf team is in 14th place after the opening day of competition at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational held at Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Ind.

Valparaiso’s men’s golf team moved up two places in the team standings on Sunday to finish in a tie for eighth place at the Wolfpack Spring Open with a 607 total at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C. The Crusaders fired a second round 298, an 11-shot improvement over the opening round.
