The Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship has announced a change to the bracket as the Valparaiso University men’s basketball team will now start the multi-team event by facing off with Jacksonville State on Monday, Nov. 22 at 4:30 p.m. Central Time.

The change was prompted by Abilene Christian’s announcement that they will no longer be able to participate in the event.

If the Beacons win their first game, they will play Coastal Carolina at 4:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 23 and play a third game on Wednesday, Nov. 24. If the Beacons lose their first game, they will now only play two games in the Bahamas with the second occurring on Wednesday, Nov. 24.

All games during the event will be broadcast on FloHoops from the Baha Mar Convention Center. The now seven-team field includes Valpo, Toledo, Charlotte, Drexel, Tulane, Jacksonville State and Coastal Carolina.
