The Valparaiso University Department of Athletics has announced plans for a Lakeshore PAWS Benefit Game on Wednesday, Feb. 16 as the Valpo men’s basketball team hosts Loyola at 7 p.m. at the Athletics-Recreation Center.

Anyone who donates to Lakeshore PAWS at the game will receive a dog bandana. Donations can be cash or from the wish list that can be found by clicking here.

Lakeshore PAWS is a mostly volunteer run, nonprofit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization. They are dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned and unwanted pets in Northwest Indiana.

In addition, Wednesday’s game will feature a Valpo “scrunchies” giveaway for students. All home athletic events are free to all students who present their Valpo OneCard.
