Valpo swimming senior Dominic May (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) received the third weekly honor of his career on Wednesday, as he was named Mid-American Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week for his performances in dual meets last weekend against Rose-Hulman and IUPUI.

May earned his second event win of the season in the dual meet at Rose-Hulman on Friday evening, taking top honors in the 200 free. He also picked up a second-place finish in the 100 free and swam the fastest leg of any swimmer in the 200 free relay.

Then, on Saturday at IUPUI, May earned another second-place finish in the 100 free. The senior posted a time of 21.39 in the 50 free as well, his second-fastest time of the season in the event.

May previously earned Swimmer of the Week accolades twice last season, competing in the Summit League. May and his teammates return to action Saturday morning with a dual meet at Eastern Illinois.
