The Valpo men’s and women’s swimming teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA), as announced by the organization on Monday.

The women’s team earned the accolade, based on the fall 2023 semester, for the 11^th consecutive semester as the squad posted a 3.25 team GPA. Meanwhile, the men’s squad was named a Scholar All-America Team as well as it finished the semester with a 3.21 team GPA, earning the accolade for the seventh time in the last nine semesters.

The CSCAA selected teams from 783 men’s and women’s teams across all divisions of collegiate swimming as Scholar All-America Teams on the basis of their fall semester grade point averages. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.
