The Valpo volleyball program had four players recognized as Academic All-District honorees as College Sports Communicators released its volleyball Academic All-District roll on Tuesday.

Two fifth-year student-athletes who are pursuing master’s degrees in health administration were honored – Miranda Strongman (Wolverine Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Central [LIU]), who has a perfect 4.00 GPA in graduate school, and Bella Ravotto (Mishawaka, Ind./Marian), who owns a 3.962 GPA in the master’s program. For Ravotto, it is the second straight year she has received Academic All-District recognition.

Also earning the Academic All-District honor were redshirt sophomore Sam Warren (Kentland, Ind./South Newton), who has a 3.74 GPA as a health care leadership major, and sophomore Emma Hickey (Granger, Ind./Penn), who carries a 3.93 GPA as a civil engineering major.

College Sports Communicators will release its Academic All-America teams next month.
