Bill Marshall returned to Valparaiso prior to the 2005 football season after serving as a player for the Brown and Gold over the previous four years.  He will guide the Valpo defensive line.

A player for the Crusaders from 2001 through 2004, he played every position on the defensive line.  A four-year starter, he earned Second Team All-Pioneer Football League honors as a junior and was a First Team All-PFL selection as a senior.  He was also a member of the 2003 PFL championship team.

He is slated to graduate this season from Valparaiso with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in elementary education.
