2011-12 [California]: Came off the bench to play in three games, totaling 16 minutes … played four minutes and scored two points against Utah (Jan. 14) … hit a three-pointer in seven minutes against Arizona State (Feb. 4) … played five minutes against USC (Feb. 9).

2010-11 [California]: Sat out the 2010-2011 season at Cal as a medical redshirt.

Prep: Named the Central Suburban League Player of the Year at New Trier High School … second team all-state as a senior … honorable mention all-state as a junior …played football and baseball … competed on the AAU Rising Stars club team.

Personal: Alex is the son of Bill and Lee Ann Rossi … major is finance ... born Sept. 19, 1991.
