2023-24: Played in 31 games and made 21 starts... Scored in double figures on nine occasions... Averaged 7.3 points per game after averaging 0.5 ppg as a rookie at Murray State... Averaged 4.9 rebounds per game and totaled 40 blocks and 15 steals while shooting 40.3 percent from the floor, 32.4 percent from 3 and 76.5 percent from the free-throw line... Posted a season-high 19 points on Nov. 14 vs. Green Bay, when he became just the third Valpo player in the last 15 years with a 19-point, four-block game... Tallied double figures in each of the first three games of the season... Pulled down a double-figure rebounding total twice including a season-high 15 boards on Nov. 17 at No. 23 Illinois, when he had the most rebounds by a Valpo player in a single game since January 2021... Played 770 minutes (24.8 mpg) as a sophomore after playing just 28 minute (2.6 mpg) as a freshman at Murray State... 2022-23 (Murray State): Played in 11 games during his freshman year at Murray State, totaling 29 minutes… Went 3-of-6 from the field and pulled down eight rebounds… Made his collegiate debut on Nov. 7 at Saint Louis… Scored his first collegiate points on Nov. 20 vs. Tulsa.

Prep: Was a McDonald’s All-America nominee following his senior season… Led Cathedral to the 2021-22 Indiana 4A state championship… Averaged 10.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists while hitting 3s at a 40.8 percent clip during his senior season… Played for D1 Indiana on the Under Armour Circuit for head coach Brian Keeton… Earned a spot on the Indiana All-Star team and was twice named to the all-state squad… During his junior year of high school, averaged 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists while competing in one of the nation’s top areas for high school basketball and was a finalist for Indiana Junior All-Star team that season… Excelled in big games, scoring 17 points in the Indianapolis City Championship against Crispus Attucks and 19 against the top team in Class 2A, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian.

Personal: Son of Jason and Nadina Edwards… Has a sister, Jordyn, and a brother, Jayden… Majoring in sports marketing… Played football up until high school but stopped after eighth grade when he injured his hand… He lists his favorite basketball memories as winning state his senior year of high school and getting his first “poster” dunk in college.
