The Valparaiso University track & field program has announced its slate for the 2023 outdoor season, which will commence after the indoor campaign culminates with the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Valpo at Gately Park in Chicago in late February.

The Beacons will start the outdoor portion of the season with a trip to Tallahassee, Fla. for the Florida State Relays on March 23-24. The docket also includes Western Michigan’s Jack Shaw Invitational (April 7-8), Louisville’s Jim Freeman Invitational (April 14-15), Illinois’ Gary Wieneke Memorial (April 21-22) and the Drake Relays (April 27-29).

The outdoor slate will build up to the 2023 MVC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Illinois State in Normal, Ill. from May 12-15.
