2017: Season best indoor pole vault of 14-3.5 occured on Feb. 26... Had the top outdoor mark of his career on April 22, clearing the bar at 14-6.25, the fifth-best mark in program history. 

2016: A pole vaulter for Valparaiso, cleared the bar at 14’11” this indoor season, the program’s third best result ever…for outdoor, he holds the school’s fifth-best mark with a 14’5 1/2" effort this year in the event.

Prep: Three-year letter winner for the Indians…sectional, regional and state qualifier…team MVP…Elite Indian award recipient...three letters in football.

Personal: Son of Jamie and Ron Block…major is biology.
