Aaron Smith joined the Valparaiso athletic training staff as a graduate assistant, beginning with the 2012-2013 academic year.  He will be responsible for working directly with the Crusader volleyball, cross country and track and field teams.

Smith comes to Valpo from Central Arkansas, where he gained experience working with sports including football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, baseball, cross country and track and field.  During his time at Central Arkansas, Smith assisted with an FCS playoff game, a women's basketball postseason game and a pair of track meets.

Smith earned his bachelor's of science in athletic training from the University of Central Arkansas in May of 2012 and is currently working towards his master's degree at Valparaiso.
