Kulaga Earns Second Scholar-Athlete of the Week Honor

For the second time this season, Valparaiso University’s Agnieszka Kulaga (Tarnow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace H.S.) has been named the U.S. Army Horizon League’s Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

The senior guard scored 19 points in Valpo’s Horizon League quarterfinal game against Wright State on March 11.  She also added three assists, three steals, and a rebound in her final collegiate game.

Kulaga earned a bachelor’s degree in international business in just three years, carrying a 3.80 grade point average, and is currently working on her MBA.  She was an ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District V First Team selection this season after earning Second Team honors a year ago.

Kulaga was also named the Scholar-Athlete of the Week on December 19 as well as the Scholar-Athlete of the Month for November.
