The Valparaiso University women's track and field team has been selected to finish fourth in the Mid-Continent Conference for the outdoor season according to the preseason poll conducted by the league's head coaches.

Oral Roberts and Southern Utah were picked to win the conference with Western Illinois tabbed third. UMKC and Chicago State were picked to finish fifth and sixth respectively behind the Crusaders.

The Mid-Continent Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held May 15-17 at Western Illinois in Macomb.
