2006 (Track and Field): Posted times of 10:10.90 in the 3,000m run and 17:08.19 in the 5,000m run during the indoor campaign ... outdoors, registered best times of 4:33.53 in the 1,500m run and 16:48.30 in the 5,000m run.

2005 (Cross Country): Ran three times during junior year ... set new personal best at Brissman-Lundeen Invitational, running a 28:36 over 8K course ... again broke 30 minutes at Evansville Invitational, finishing 8K route in 29:17.4.

2004 (Cross Country): Competed four times during sophomore season ... finished 31st at season-opening Crusader Invitational, posting 8K time of 30:57 ... lowered that time at Notre Dame Invitational, finishing in 30:48 ... again went faster at next event, Evansville Invitational, crossing tape in 30:24.1.

2003 (Cross Country): Ran once during freshman season ... covered 8K course at Loyola Lakefront Invitational in 31:25.

Prep: Competed as a cross country athlete for the Vikings ... also ran track.

Personal: Phil is the son of Michael and Cynthia Martin ... major is mechanical engineering ... born May 7, 1985.
