2009 (Track and Field): Did not run during indoor campaign of rookie season with the Crusaders ... competed in distance events during outdoor season ... posted season-best times of 4:31.58 in the 1,500m run and 16:41.93 in the 5,000m run.

2008 (Cross Country): Ran three times for Crusaders as a freshman ... began career with 6K time of 21:43 at Crusader Open ... ran season-best 8K time of 28:33.54 at Evansville Invitational ... also competed for Valpo at the Horizon League Championships.

Prep: A three-year letterwinner for the Spartans ... two-time captain ... part of 2007 squad that won Class AA State Championship, the first male sport in school history to win a state title ... 2007 team also won regional and sectional championships and finished the season undefeated ... as a junior, part of a Spartan squad that captured sectional title ... also earned three letters in track and field ... a two-year track and field captain ... Academic All-Conference honoree ... a member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Nick is the son of R.C. Fagan and Jane McDougall ... major is civil engineering ... born June 17, 1990.
