 Phil Ruskin joins the Crusader coaching staff this season as a volunteer asssistant for the 2009 campaign. Ruskin comes to Valpo from Elmhurst College, where he was a four-year letterwinner for the Blue Jays on the pitch. He earned the team’s Golden Goal award as a senior in 2008. Ruskin has also gained coaching experience with the Downers Grove Roadrunners FC, as well as conducting personal one-on-one training. He is currently working towards his USSF “D” license. Ruskin earned a bachelor’s degree in organziational communication from Elmhurst in 2008. He is currently working towards a master’s degree in sports administration from Valparaiso. |
