2023 (Track & Field): His top indoor shot put of the season of 13.03m came on Dec. 2 at the Blue & Gold Invitational… Achieved his top weight throw of the indoor season with a 13.53m heave at the GVSU Big Meet… Had the team’s best outdoor shot put of the season at 13.09m at the Clark Wood Open… Had his best outdoor hammer with a mark of 39.74m at the Gibson Invitational.

Prep: Three-year varsity letter winner, three-year starter and two-year team captain… Twice earned all-conference honors and once was named to the all-area team… Also competed in wrestling (two years) and track & field (three years) and was also a two-year captain in wrestling… Member of the high honor roll.

Personal: Majoring in mechanical engineering… Son of Donalea and Terry Leathers… Has two brothers, Dakota and Tyler... Has an interest in strongman competitions and aspires to compete in one in the future.
