The Valparaiso softball team’s weekend series against Green Bay has been canceled due to forecasted temperatures in the Valparaiso area and will not be made up.  The Crusaders will now open the home campaign on Monday with a doubleheader against Ball State at 2 p.m. CDT.

In addition, Valpo’s doubleheader against Northern Illinois at the Valparaiso University Softball Field on Tuesday will now begin at 3 p.m.  With the cancellations, the Crusaders’ series at Detroit March 29-30 will be the first Horizon League action for Valpo in its first season as a member of the league.
