Joe Pahr

"Despite the fact that 46 football seasons have passed since he graduated, Joe Pahr remains VU's recordholder in career scoring (234 points), rushing (2,326 yards) and touchdowns (39).

A two-time All-American (1950 and 1951), Pahr helped Valpo to its last undefeated season (9-0) in 1951, which included an ICC title. That year, Pahr was named the ICC's Most Valuable Back. During his three seasons as a halfback, VU's record was 26-2-1. Pahr earned All-ICC as a senior in 1951, the first year VU participated in conference play. He still holds VU season records for points (96) and touchdowns (16), and has the longest run from scrimmage (86 yards).
