One of the top setters all-time at Valparaiso University, Katie (Bova) Hoffmann helped lead the Crusaders’ volleyball program to three Mid-Continent Conference titles as well as three NCAA Tournament appearances. 

A two-time First Team All Mid-Con selection, Hoffmann was named the Mid-Con’s Setter of the Year in both 2004 and 2005.  She was the 2004 Mid-Continent Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player and still ranks fourth all-time in school history with 3,061 career assists. 

In addition, Hoffmann still ranks eighth on the career charts with 1,308 digs over four seasons.  A co-captain as a senior, she earned a pair of Mid-Con Player of the Week accolades during her career and was named the Most Valuable Player of four different in-season tournaments. 

Hoffmann is currently a statistics coordinator for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
