Crusader Athletics Raising Money for Breast Cancer Awareness
Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Over the next two weeks, Valparaiso’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and its athletics teams will be selling pink t-shirts and accepting donations to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and breast cancer awareness at all home athletics events.  The volleyball team will also be offering free admission for its Friday evening match against Butler to any fans who show up wearing pink.

A complete list of events at which t-shirts will be for sale and donations will be accepted follows.  The effort kicked off this past Sunday, October 12 when the Crusader women’s soccer team donned pink uniforms for its game against SIU-Edwardsville and auctioned them off afterwards.
