Nine Valparaiso University men's and six Crusader women's basketball games will be shown live either on television or via the internet during the 2006-2007 season.

Lakeshore Public Television will begin the coverage on Wednesday night as the Crusader men battle nationally-ranked Butler from the Athletics-Recreation Center. The game will also be available online as part of the Horzion League Network at www.horizonleague.org.

In addition, Saturday's game against top-ranked Ohio State will be carried by Lakeshore Public Television, with tip-off slated for 3 p.m. CST. The station also plans on carrying games against Ball State, Oral Roberts (home and away), Oakland, and UMKC. Lakeshore Public Television will also show the Valpo women's games against Notre Dame and Oral Roberts (home and away).

Valpo will produce webcasts of two other men's games and three women's games this season. The IUPUI and Western Illinois home games as well as the Oakland, Western Illinois, and Southern Utah women's contests will be shown live through the Valpo website at www.valpo.edu/athletics.
