Valparaiso volleyball fans will now be able to watch the Crusaders play live on the Internet, as it was announced today that all eight of Valpo’s home Horizon League matches will be videocast live on the Horizon League Network, starting with tonight’s 7 p.m. match against UIC.  Also, prior to tomorrow’s match against Loyola, Carin Avery and the Crusader volleyball program will be recognizing the 2003 Valparaiso team, the first team in program history to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

Links to the volleyball videocasts will be available at both www.valpo.edu/athletics and at www.horizonleague.org.  Audio will be provided by WVUR’s broadcast team for each match.

The 2003 team set a then-school record with 27 victories en route to the NCAA Tournament appearance.  They also set a record that still stands with eight straight victories to start the season, won the Mid-Con regular season and tournament championships and had four players receive First Team All-Conference honors.
