The Valparaiso men's basketball team has been selected for another national television appearance, as the Crusaders' game at Cleveland State was chosen by ESPN as a wildcard selection to air on ESPN2 on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m. CT.
With the selection of the Crusaders' game at Cleveland State for ESPN2, it means Valpo will appear on the ESPN family of networks at least six times in 2012-2013 and on national television at least seven times, with a possible BracketBuster television game still pending. The Crusaders have already played once on ESPN, twice on ESPNU and once on the Big Ten Network.
Valpo will play back-to-back Saturdays on ESPN2, as its game against Detroit from the ARC on Feb. 16 will also be televised on ESPN2, while the Crusaders' regular season finale at Green Bay on Mar. 2 is slated for an ESPNU broadcast. In addition, Valpo has had a trio of games on regional television and have three ESPN3.com exclusive online broadcasts as well.
