Tyler Stevenson joined the Valparaiso Sports Media Relations in August of 2014 as the Media Relations Graduate Intern.

A native of Valparaiso, Stevenson is the primary contact for men's soccer, women's golf, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming and diving and men's and women's track and field. Some of his duties include maintaining statistics, preparing game notes and programs, compiling recaps, coordinating interviews, and managing the athletics website.

Stevenson recently graduate from Manchester University in May of 2014 with his bachelor's degree in sport management. While at Manchester, he was a student worker in the sports information office for three years, working almost every home sporting event during that time. He also completed internships with the Athletic Media Services Department at IPFW in the spring of 2014 and in the communications department at USA Track and Field in the summer of 2014.

He is currently working towards his M.S. in Sports Media at Valparaiso University. He is engaged to Kara Gilley and they will be married in August of 2015.
