Overnight rains combined with a heavy burst of precipitation this morning have forced the cancellation of Valparaiso’s scheduled series finale with Loyola on Sunday.  The game will not be made up.

The Crusaders’ bad luck with the weather continues, as this marks five home games rained out this year, including three Horizon League games.  Valpo has a quick turnaround back to action with a midweek league series at Wright State, starting with a doubleheader Tuesday at 1 p.m. CDT.  Live stats and live chat for all three games of the series will be available at www.valpoathletics.com.
