Amy (Cavanaugh) Cramer was a goalkeeper for the Crusader women’s soccer program from 1996 to 1999.

Cramer ranks among the NCAA’s all-time leaders in saves, as her 620 career stops in goal place her seventh in NCAA Division I history. She holds the Valpo career record in the category by nearly 300 saves, and also owns four of the top-six single-season save totals in program history – highlighted by a 224-save season as a sophomore in 1997, a mark which ranks 17th in NCAA history.

Cramer was Valpo’s goalkeeper in its three seasons as an affiliate member of the Missouri Valley Conference (1996-1998), and in the fall of 2017 was named one of 25 finalists for the MVC’s 25-Year Anniversary Team. She was an MVC All-Freshman Team member in 1996, a two-time Honorable Mention All-Conference selection and an All-Tournament Team honoree in 1998, and set the conference’s single-season save record with her 224-save campaign in 1997. Valpo moved to the Mid-Continent Conference prior to Cramer’s senior season, and she earned All-Tournament Team accolades from the Mid-Con in 1999 as well.
