Two weeks later, the Crusaders head to Lexington, Ky. for Kentucky's Bluegrass Invitational Apr. 12-13. The next weekend sees Valpo tee it up at the Wolfpack Spring Open in Raleigh, N.C., hosted by North Carolina State.
Meanwhile, the Crusader women get the spring slate off to an early start, heading to Broussard, La. Feb. 9-11 for McNeese State's tournament. Valpo heads back south Mar. 10-11 for the Benbow Invitational, hosted by Butler in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Crusaders make the short trip to Fort Wayne Apr. 6-7 for the IPFW Spring Invitational. Valpo then will tee it up on its home course, hosting the Crusader/Jaguar Challenge at The Course at Aberdeen Apr. 12-13.
Both the men's and women's teams will compete simultaneously at the Horizon League Championship, contested at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey in the Hills, Fla. from Apr. 25-27. The league champion on both sides earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals, to be held May 8-10 for the women and May 15-17 for the men. The NCAA Championship for the women is in Tulsa, Okla. from May 20-23, while the men's championship will be in Hutchinson, Kan. from May 23-28.
