Valpo's Dangremond and Krause Earn Academic All-League Honors
Valparaiso University swimmers Shauna Dangremond (Tucson, Ariz./Sabino H.S.) and Jaclyn Krause (Rochseter, Mich./Notre Dame Prep H.S.) have both been named to the Academic All-Horizon League Team.

Two More Records Set on Final Day of Swimming and Diving Championships
Valparaiso set two more school records on the final day of competition at the 2009 Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday afternoon to bring the total number of new school marks set at this year's event by the Crusader women to seven. The Brown and Gold finished the championships in seventh place overall with 214 points.

Majercik Sets School Mark on Day Three of Horizon League Championships
Rachel Majercik (Schaumburg, Ill./Conant H.S.) set a new school record in the 100 butterfly on Friday for Valparaiso as the Crusaders finished day three of the Horizon League Championships in seventh place in Brown Deer, Wis.

Crusaders Move Up in Standings as Valpo Sets Two School Records Thursday
Shaunna Dangremond (Tucson, Ariz./Sabino H.S.) set a school record in the 200 individual medley and was a part of the record-setting 400 medley relay on Thursday evening as Valparaiso moved up into sixth place halfway through the 2009 Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships held in Brown Deer, Wis.

Records Fall on Opening Day of Horizon League Championships
Valparaiso set school records in two events on Wednesday evening as the Crusaders began competition in the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships held in Brown Deer, Wis. As a team, the Brown and Gold finished the opening day in seventh place out of eight schools through four events.

Valpo's Dangremond Named U.S. Army Horizon League Scholar-Athlete of the Week
Valparaiso University swimmer Shaunna Dangremond (Tucson, Ariz./Sabino H.S.) has been named this week's U.S. Army Scholar-Athlete of the Week after winning five events last weekend while leading the Crusaders to two victories.

Valpo Women Close Regular Season Sweeping IUPUI and Butler
The Valparaiso University women's swimming and diving team closed out the 2008-2009 regular season on Sunday afternoon, sweeping a double dual meet in Indianapolis, Ind. The Crusaders downed IUPUI 166-103 while defeating Butler 188-62.
