Ken Klawitter joined the Valparaiso University Crusader baseball staff prior to the 2005 season.  His main responsibilities lie with directing the Valpo reserve team.

Klawitter had 17 years of baseball coaching experience prior to arriving at Valpo, having guided teams at the Little League through adult amateur levels.  He also has experience working for the Valparaiso Parks and Recreation Department.

Klawitter, a 1985 graduate of Purdue University, is a professional in architectural and custom home design.  He and his wife Paulette have two children, Benjamin (born in 1990) and Cayla (1992).
