Patrick Bracco joined the Valparaiso University baseball staff in 2008 following his playing career with the Brown and Gold and will return for his second season as a volunteer assistant in 2009.

Bracco’s duties include working with the outfielders, coaching first base, as well as assisting in day-to-day operations and administrative work for the program. He also serves in an alumni relations capacity for the Crusaders in addition to facilitating game day operations and marketing.

Bracco pitched for the Crusaders from 2005-2008, appearing in 35 games.  He earned Academic All Mid-Continent Conference honors as a junior, the same season he pitched in a career-high 17 games out of the bullpen.

Bracco is a 2008 graduate of Valparaiso with a degree in sports industry.  He is currently enrolled in the sports administration master’s program at Valpo.
