2018: Did not see action in his first season on campus… Retained four years of eligibility.

Prep: Played in 26 games as the starting quarterback during his junior and senior seasons… Saw his team post a 23-3 record over those 26 starts… Made 232 career completions with a 57.1 percent completion rate… Racked up 3,548 career passing yards and 40 career touchdowns while averaging 15 yards per completion… Led his team to an undefeated 2016 season that culminated with a state championship… Team also won the Classic 8 conference title – considered to be the toughest conference in the state of Wisconsin… Was named to the Classic 8 all-conference team as a junior and senior… Was a three-year letter winner in football while also earning two varsity letters in basketball and participating in track and field as a freshman and sophomore… Was on honor roll for one semester as a sophomore and two semesters as a junior… Down by 14 in Level 2 Playoff Game in 2016 against Wisconsin Lutheran with six minutes remaining, he threw three long touchdown passes (one was called back by a penalty) to tie the game. As the clock ran out, his team kicked a 51-yard field goal for the win on their way to a perfect season and a state championship.

Personal: Son of Dave and Jeri Nimz… Has one sister, Alyssa, and two pets – golden retriever Rylee and cat Lizzie… Majoring in business (finance and analytics)… Born on Nov. 12, 1999... School mascot has always been the Crusader - in grade school (St. Charles), high school (Catholic Memorial) and now at Valpo.
