The Valpo softball program will take to the field for four days of competition this fall, starting on Sunday at Grand Park in Westfield, and will also host a number of clinics this fall. In addition, the program announced Thursday that Katelyn Massa has joined the staff as a graduate assistant.
Valpo softball head coach Amanda Eberhart announced today that Melisa Shock has joined the program’s coaching staff as an assistant coach. Shock, who spent the previous two seasons on staff at Frostburg State, will work primarily with the team’s pitchers.
Valparaiso University Director of Athletics Mark LaBarbera announced today that Amanda Eberhart has been hired as head coach of the Valpo Softball program. Eberhart brings seven years of head coaching experience at the Division I level, most recently spending the last three years as the head coach at Omaha, and also has eight seasons of experience on staffs at Big Ten programs.
